Build a cardboard house together

Build a cardboard house together!

We are sure your little one loves to make things! This weekend, Discover more experiences together by turning a large carton into a house! This fun and easy activity brings you closer as you plan together how you would like your home to be, build it and then play with it!

Making plans

You can start by creating a blueprint of the house. Sit with your little one and paint the house as you imagine it. This is a great opportunity to encourage your child's creativity! Wouldn't it be nice to have the front of your house painted butterflies on the wall? Why not!

Building a house

Let the fun begin! Draw the box together, following the layout as faithfully as possible. But even if you decide to deviate from your original idea, no problem! Let your little one apply their ideas! When you're done, bring some of the child's favorite plush toys and host them in their new home!

Proud hosts

Once playing is over, do not hide the little house that your little one made in the closet! Keep it out, in common view, so that every time someone visits, you can show them the amazing artwork of your little one! Compliments that will surely be made by those who see it will boost the child's confidence more and more!

Dealing with art can help your child understand abstract concepts, and develop their critical thinking as well as their sociality. The game of colors and shapes excites and cultivates your child's imagination. Also, by letting them choose these colors, you train them to make their own decisions but also to openly express their opinion.
