Come on hunting shadows

Come hunt for shadows!

You don't have to go far to discover more experiences with the whole family! When the weather is nice and the sun is shining, you can play with dad, your little one and other family members outside in the garden or in the nearby park. There, you will show your child what shadows are, try to catch their shadow together, and then set up a small shadow theater!

Learning about shadows

Before you begin, you need to make sure your child knows what shadows are. Have them stand in the garden and look at the black figure in front of them . Then, go hand in hand and show your little one how your shadows follow your every move.

Let's get them

When your child has learned about shadows, it's time to start playing! Ask dad and other family members to join in and start hunting for shadows. Every time your little one catches your shadow, you may want to look surprised, as if you did not expect it! It is impossible not to make them laugh!

Shadow theater

You can show your little one how to create simple animals such as a dog or bunny with shadows on the wall. Do it first for them to learn how to do it, and then help them make the right shapes with their hands!

See? Without having to go far, you had an enjoyable afternoon!
